New exclusive Tamil film Chamber formed

A new body exclusively for Tamil films, Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce has been floated with Abirami Ramanathan unanimously nominated as the Chairman.
The Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce has members of the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council, TN Distributors Association and the Theater Owners Association. It may be noted that a South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce also exists. We will have to wait and see how the new body functions for the welfare of the Tamil film industry.
