Actress Sshivada made her debut in Tamil cinema with the Aari starrer Nedunchalai directed by Sillunu oru Kaadhal Krishna, and later acted in the movie Adhe Kangal which won great reviews for her performance in a negative role.

Sshivada got married to Murali Krishnan in 2015, and the couple have a daughter. Today, their daughter Arundhati turns 1 year old and Sshivada has shared a video with photographs of cute moments of her daughter on Twitter.
