Tamil Nadu: Class 12 state board exam results announced

The results of Class 12 board exams or Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) have been announced by the Directorate of Government Exams (DGE), Tamil Nadu earlier today. 100 percent of the students have been declared pass.

The subject wise scores are available on the following websites - tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Among a total of 8,16,473 students who had registered for the board examination, 4,35,973 were female candidates and 3,80,500 were male candidates. While 39,679 students secured a score between 551-600, 1,67,133 students obtained a score between 501-550. Meanwhile, 2,22,522 students scored in the 451-500 range.

Stating that none of the students got 600/600, Tamil Nadu school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi announced that offline examinations will be conducted for students who weren't satisfied with their scores. "Exams will soon be conducted for students who wish to improve their scores and also for other private candidates, the dates will be announced depending on the Covid-19 situation," the minister stated.

The candidates can download their marksheets from the websites www.dge.tn.gov.in and www.dge.tn.nic.in from 11am on July 22. They will have to register their date of birth and roll number in order to download their marksheets.
