Senior BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan is well known for her contentious remarks especially on actors and people from the film fraternity. In a recent interview, the senior leader has once again stirred controversy by opining on Kamal Hassan and Vijay.

Stating Kamal’s recent apologies for supporting GST, Tamilisai Soundararajan has touted that there will come a situation when Kamal will have to apologise for a lot more things.

Tamilisai also questioned Thalpathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal earnings as the film had supposedly reaped in 33 crores the very first day. “Isn’t selling a Rs.200 ticket at Rs.2000 is also corruption?” she said.

Kamal and Vijay fans have both been responding to Tamilisai’s statements on social media supporting their stars.
