As a respite from the summer heat, private weather expert Pradeep John aka Tamil Nadu Weatherman has revealed details as to summer 'showers'. Yes, you read that right! And according to that, rains will begin in TN's southern districts starting today.

Stating that regions like Coimbatore and Nilgiris will start receiving rainfall from tonight or tomorrow morning, the Weatherman also predicted the same for Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Ramanathapuram and Virudhunagar as well.

And coming to Chennai, he stated that the temperature will remain under 33 degrees for the week atleast before it sees a rise about 35/36 C. However, the assurance that his message had was that the temperature wouldn't go as far as 40 C like it did in 2016.
