Tarun likes competition

If you ask Tarun, competition is healthy in so far as it helps to bring to light good scripts and roles. The actor, who is in his late 20s, celebrated his birthday yesterday. Speaking with the media, the talented actor exuded confidence and shared his plans.

I would never want to play this or that particular role. I cherry pick from the films that come my way. I am choosing only those films which I think suit me. In Anucharudu and Yuddham, I am playing roles that suit my image. At the same time, they explore the action hero side in me, the handsome actor said.

Tarun, who has had a number of flops in a row, has an advice. It is better to foster the image one has achieved over a period of time, rather than try to change it. (It may be noted that Nitin Reddy is another hero who has recognized this finally. Thus, Ishq!).

At a time when all the heroes who debuted around the same year as him - NTR, for instance - and other young heroes like Arjun and Charan, are getting married, it was natural for the scribes present there to ask him about his marriage plans. I will let you know the news in one or two years, he said.

Tarun also revealed that the practice session for the up-and-coming CCL edition is on.
