As Prime minister Narendra Modi yesterday announced the extension of nationwide lockdown by another 19 days till May 3, it has made an impact on every retail outlet of states as well including the ones that many were expecting for long time to reopen - TASMAC.

Due to the extended lockdown period, all TASMAC retail outlets and bars will remain closed in Tamil Nadu till April 30. As per reports, a detailed order with instructions about the closure was sent to senior regional managers and district managers of TASMAC.

Before PM Minister Narendra Modi announced the nationwide lockdown extension till May 3, the Tamil Nadu government on Monday itself jad extended the lockdown in the state till April 30 and now it's not known whether TASMAC outlets will remain shut till May 3 because of the extension.
