After Shiv Sena`s MP, it is now an MP of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) who has been stirring up trouble for airline staffers. The MP, J C Diwakar Reddy, allegedly went berserk, throwing a printer on the floor and manhandling staff for denying him boarding, as he was late.

The MP was scheduled to take an IndiGo flight early this morning but reached only a few minutes before the flight was to take off. The airliner finally let him aboard the flight but soon banned him from all future flights; Air India soon followed suit. Apparently, this is not the first time he misbehaved despite being in the wrong: last year, he went on a rampage at an Air India office, as he had missed a flight, shouting abuses at staff and vandalizing the office.

The Centre`s draft rules for banning misbehaving passengers for a period of three months and upward are expected to be finalized soon and will likely be welcomed by airliners.
