After impressing the audience with his 2020 web show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', filmmaker Hansal Mehta is now back with another tale of a real life scam which shook the nation. His upcoming web show 'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story', will be based on Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit seller who did a scam of around 100 billion rupees by printing counterfeit stamp papers.

A short teaser of the show was released by Sony LIV on their official Instagram outlet recently. It featured theatre actor Gagan Dev Riar as Abdul Karim Telgi with iconic 'Scam 1992' background music playing in the background. The post was captioned as, "Starring Gagan Dev Riar as Telgi, Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with StudioNext, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story will be helmed by show runner Hansal Mehta and director Tushar Hiranandani.
