Kabir Khan's higlhy anticipated sports drama '83' is just about a month away from its release and makers have now treated fans by releasing the first teaser of the film. '83' stars Ranveer Singh in the lead as legendary skipper Kapil Dev and it will chronicle Indian cricket team's winning crusade in the 1983 World Cup. The recently released teaser recreates an iconic moment from the cricket history which is still afresh in the memory of many fans.

The teaser is released in black and white format and it shows a cinematic recreation of Kapil Dev's iconic catch from the World Cup final with which he dismissed deadly batsman Viv Richards and sealed the victory for India. Teaser opens with a wide angle shot of a cricket stadium and goes on show Viv Richards' character taking guard at the crease. Madan Lal is then shown to pitch the ball and finally Ranveer Singh's Kapil Dev beautifully grabs the iconic catch.

The film is going to release on 24th of December in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
