The teaser for Parineeti Chopra starrer Saina Nehwal biopic was released yesterday and the glimpse of this inspirational story has increased the anticipation. Saina Nehwal is India's Olympic medal winning badminton star and a youth icon. The film will follow Saina's journey from her childhood to representing the country in international tournaments.
Although previously, actress Shraddha Kapoor was set to play Saina due her facial resemblance but she opted out due to the unavailability of dates. The teaser doesn't focus too much on Parineeti's character but it sets up the theme and subject of the film very well. This Amol Gupte directorial would've released last year but it got delayed cause of obvious reasons.
Sharing the teaser on her instagram, Parineeti wrote, Saina, March 26 in cinemas.
