We are told that Mohan Babu is playing two contrasting roles in 'Gayatri'. The teaser presents a character who is self-styled when it comes to interpreting the earth-shattering happenings in Ramayanam and Mahabharatam. The Epics tell the stories of the triumph of Good over Evil. But what about the lakhs of foot soldiers who also died on either side?
Written and directed by Madan, the story of 'Gayatri' revolves around the two Mohan Babus (in fact, there is a fight featuring the both, enabled by Vfx and fashioned on the Australian Stunt Rig technique), Vishnu Manchu, Nikhila Vimal (titular role is played by her) and Shriya Saran. The teaser is dominated, however, by Mohan Babu. His dialogue-delivery is in his vintage style. He talks like a Ram Gopal Varma character and he could be Tollywood's own 'Sarkar' when it comes to playing by his own rules and asking us to choose how to judge him!
Dialogues are by Diamond Ratnababu. Co-written by Ravi Bayyavarapu, Paruchuri Brothers have also worked on the script. Music is by SS Thaman, while the fights are by Kanal Kannan.
