Telangana is Corona-free: Health Minister

Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender today said that the State is now Coronavirus-free.

“The 24-year-old Hyderabad-based software engineer has tested negative in the latest round of tests. Health authorities have decided to discharge him soon. I thank the medical fraternity for rising up to the occasion,” the Minister today said.

Last week, there was much scare after the techie tested positive. A building in Raheja Mindspace was evacuated for sanitization. Many feared that the IT and ITes industry would get severely affected. Defying all the paranoia, Telangana has successfully averted a crisis, analysts are saying.

With two fresh cases of COVID-19 reported from Rajasthan and Delhi, there are now 60 confirmed cases in India.
