Telangana MLA up against Maha movie poster

Raja Singh, the lone BJP MLA from Telangana, has riled against Hansika Motwani's upcoming Tamil movie 'Maha'. A poster of the movie sees the actress wearing saffron, a rudraksha on her neck, and perched on a golden crown, smoking a cigar.
Raja Singh has taken a serious objection to the allegedly offending poster. Your movie Maha poster shows Hindus in a bad light. I dare director UR Jameel to show your unique side with the religion your practice. Why not a burqua-clad woman smoking in the backdrop of your holy shrine I dare you to do it (sic), he tweeted out alluding to the director.
The director had recently said that the intention is not to hurt anybody's sentiments and rather it's to present something new for a change.
