Telugu businessman found dead, murder suspected

NRI Telugu businessman Jayaram Chigurupati, the director Coastal Bank and Managing Director of Express TV, was on Thursday night found dead in his car parked on a highway near Aitavaram. He was on his way to Vijayawada.
The police found severe head injuries. His body was in the back of the car. Since his car was not damaged, it may not have been a road accident. Jayaram is suspected to have been brutally murdered. The police are in the process of collecting CCTV footage.
The deceased was in the news last January when he was arrested in connection with non-payment of dues to his employees. He hadn't been paying them salaries.
Also, the Telangana CID has been investigating him in connection with a few other cases.
