Dhanush, who has captivated fans of both Bollywood and Tamil cinema, stars in his 50th film, Tere Ishq Mein, directed by Aanand L. Rai-the man behind Raanjhanaa. Leading lady Kriti Sanon shines as the heroine. The official trailer, released yesterday, has sparked massive anticipation among fans.
The 3-minute-22-second trailer unfolds an intense love story set against the streets of Banaras. Dhanush is shown falling for a ‘bewafa’ (unfaithful) lover (Kriti), leading fans to believe this is a spiritual successor to Raanjhanaa. The trailer blends fiery chemistry laced with love and hate, powerful dialogues, high-octane action, and Dhanush’s signature acting prowess-all crafted to leave viewers spellbound.
Fans have flooded social media with praise: “Sayyara ka baap!” (The father of Sayyara!), “Dhanush is back with a bang!” Kriti Sanon’s performance and Dhanush’s emotionally charged dialogues have also earned widespread acclaim.
The film is set to release on November 28 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
