“Tere Jaisa Tu Hai” From Anil Kapoor’s ‘Fanney Khan’ Is About Accepting Yourself!

With exactly three more days to go for the release of Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ‘Fanney Khan’, the makers have released another track titled “Tere Jaisa Tu Hai”. It focusses on the struggles of the teenager faced by Pihu Sand who is body-shamed everywhere. Anil will be seen playing the role of Pihu’s father.

Crooned by Monali Thakur and composed by the amazingly talented Amit Trivedi, the song is penned by Irshad Kamil. The video opens up with Pihu, who plays Lata Sharma in the film being rejected during a stage performance due to her ‘overweight’. It portrays how her parents are part of the sad and the happy moments of their child’s journey to success. Watch now!

Helmed by debutant Atul Manjrekar and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Anil Kapoor, P.S. Bharathi, Rajiv Tandon, Krishan Kumar, Kussum Arora and Nishant Pitti, ‘Fanney Khan’ is an official remake of the Belgian film ‘Everybody's Famous!’ and is all slated to capture the hearts on August 3, 2018.
