'Terminator: Genisys' Drops Five New Character Posters

The Summer blockbuster has begun and rolling out in grand fashion with both 'Furious 7' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' smashing their way to the top of the box office. More films are set to follow the slate in the next couple months with 'Terminator: Genisys' being a highly-anticipated film this year.

'Terminator: Genisys' directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones, Thor: The Dark World) brings back franchise icon Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 Terminator along-side newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, and JK Simmons.

A bunch of new posters have officially been released featuring some of these people that give us a hint about how the movie might turn out to be.

Many are still reeling from the promotion strategy the film's production is incorporating with little regards to Jason Clarke's character (SPOILER-ALERT), who we now have come to know here is a T-3000. Apart from the Jason Clarke poster released here, the film's last trailer was quite spoiler-y on this particular part. Many fans have taken to display their displeasure saying such a surprise should have been held back. However, that being said, perhaps the film may still have more to offer. Only time will tell.

Here are the film's posters along with official synopsis

"'Terminator: Genisys' is the first part of a standalone 'Terminator' trilogy. In it, John Connor, leader of the resistance in the year 2029, continues the war against the machines. When he learns of a plot to send a Terminator back in time to kill his mother, he sends Kyle Reese to protect her, but the Sarah Connor that Kyle finds is different than what he expected."

'Terminator: Genisys' arrives in theatres on July 1, 2015.
