Kashmir’s Pahalgam is a well-known tourist destination, where visitors often go on horseback rides up to the scenic Baisaran hilltop, staying at the resorts located there. These horse rides are a regular part of the tourist experience.

However, on April 22nd, a sudden terrorist attack occurred near one of the resorts at the Baisaran hill area. Armed militants opened fire unexpectedly. Reports indicate that 28 tourists lost their lives in this horrifying incident, while 12 others have been injured.

Reacting to this shocking news, actress and singer Andrea posted an emotional message on her Instagram account. She wrote, “I have traveled to Pahalgam as a tourist. My heart goes out to the families affected by this terror attack.”

She also expressed concern for the people of Kashmir, saying her heart breaks when thinking about the further increase in surveillance and security checks they may face due to this incident.
