Thala Ajith designed high capacity drone tested for COVID 19 disinfection is a huge success

Thala Ajith was one of the first celebrities to give a huge sum of rupees one crore thirty lakhs towards the Tamil Nadu and Indian government and FEFSI coronavirus relief funds.  Apart from that he also instructed the team of his upcoming film 'Valimai' to not restart shooting until the pandemic ends to protect the cast and crew in spite of monetary setbacks.

It is common knowledge that Thala Ajith mentored the team Daksha of IIT Madras to design a UAV which won the second place in the Australian UAV challenge and was used to deliver medicines by air to places where it is not possible for humans to do.

A few weeks back the drones designed by Daksha was used by the Tamil Nadu government to disinfect many parts of the city.  Now a high capacity drone by the same team has been designed which has the capacity of carrying 16 litres of disinfectants and can cover one acre in 30 minutes time.

Dr. Karthik Narayanan stated that Thala Ajith suggested the innovative idea of spraying disinfectants in red zones using drones designed by Daksha and that is how the government used it.  He also stated that now all the other district collectors too have been instructed to make use of the technology that Ajith initiated in the fight against coronavirus

The mass Thala Ajith fans are celebrating the movement as yet another victory for the megastar who is known to keep a low profile but does his bit for the society in the right time in the right way.
