WOW Thala Ajiths Daksha team designed UAV used by Chennai Police

Thala Ajith served as the technical advisor for the MIT Daksha drone team which won the second place at the Medical Express UAV challenge held in Australia last month. Now the drones have been adopted by the Chennai police to monitor crowded placed from an aerial view.

Chennai Commissioner of Police Mr. A.K. Vishwanathan inaugurated the Daksha team drone installation at T. Nagar today. The cops can now monitor the heavy Diwali shopping season from the aerial view provided by the drones that will ensure that no untoward incidents occur. It is now a much safer shopping experience for the public at T. Nagar thanks to Thala Ajith and his MIT Daksha team.
