Venkat Prabhu officially confirms next with Thala Ajith?

One of Thala Ajith's career defining films is 'Mankathaa' that came at a time when his films were not doing well and gave him a new persona in the salt and pepper look. The cult classic which was also one of the biggest hits of Ajith's career was directed by Venkat Prabhu and fans have ever since been wishing the reunion of this duo.
A few weeks back in an interaction Venkat Prabhu stated that he is going to direct Ajith next and looks like the project is firming up. VP has released the latest photo in which he is seen with Thala in his latest getup. This can sure be taken as more or less the confirmation of the project which is most likely to be 'Mankaatha 2' but however we have to wait for official confirmation.
Ajith is currently shooting for the 'Pink' remake 'Thala 59' directed by H. Vinod while Venkat Prabhu is gearing up to direct Simbu's 'Maanaadu'.
