Even as Amma was admitted in the hospital some media channels from Andhra, Kerala and Sri Lanka posted a news that the former AIADMK Supremo called for Thala Ajith and spoke to him about leading the party and state after her.

Now, after the sad demise of Amma the same sites and channels have started another yarn stating that Ajith is in consideration for the leadership along with the others Sasikala, OPS and Thambidurai. This false news has been extensively carried in North India too. Everyone in the industry are well aware that Thala Ajith minds his own business and only concentrates on his work. Sources close to Ajith have also made it clear that the king of box office has no such intentions and all these news are baseless fabrications.
