Thala Ajith had scored a huge blockbuster earlier this year with the Siva directorial Viswasam, and had recently finished shooting for his next release Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth and produced by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor's Bayview Productions LLP.

While there were rumours floating that the actor might next collaborate with Venkat Prabhu or again with Siva, the latest speculations making rounds is that Thala 60 in all probabilities will mostly be directed by H Vinoth again, and is touted to be an action packed entertainer, again produced by Boney Kapoor.

On the other hand, Ner Konda Paarvai which is the official remake of 2016 Bollywood hit Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan is all set to release worldwide on August 10. The movie will have Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang and Aadhik Ravichandran in prime roles, and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
