Another popular hero onboard Thala Ajith's Valimai?

Thala Ajith was seen on screen last year in two movies - the Siva directed family entertainer Viswasam co-starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Anikha Surendran, and the Bollywood remake Ner Konda Paarvai co-starring Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan and Rangaraj Pandey.
After the success of Ner Konda Paarvai, Thala Ajith has again joined hands with its director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for his 60th movie, which has been titled as Valimai, and this movie which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja had schedules happening in Hyderabad and Chennai.
While Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is said to play the female lead in Valimai, recently there was a speculation that actor Prasanna has joined the cast. A netizen had tweeted asking Prasanna if he's a part of Valimai, and the actor has replied Not yet bro. Waiting for confirmation, indicating that he might have been approached.
