Analysis:

Since this is Amma Rajasekhar's son Amma Ragin Raj's debut film, we must first discuss his performance. Even though it was his first film, he did not seem like a newcomer. Every scene and every emotion is evident in his style, and he proved that he is a good actor with his first film. Ankitha gave an excellent performance in the pair with Ragin Raj. Similarly, Rohit, who came on screen after a long time, brought life to that role by playing his father's role.

Similarly, Esther Noronha, who always looks glamorous, has shined in a unique role. Radha Chandrasekhar acted wonderfully in the negative role. Ajay, Satyam Rajesh, Mukku Avinash, Rajeev Kanakala, and Indraja added value to the cast.

The film narrates the story of a son who works so hard for his mother and wants to fulfill her wish. Amma Rajasekhar, as the director, was successful in bringing this story to the screen. The screenplay also did not lag anywhere, and the film was made very clearly. He caught the right pulse of the audience and made it engaging. The songs are good and are in sync with the songs. The background music throughout the film was another bonus. The action scenes in the film as well as the interval bang are the highlight of this film.

Without compromising anywhere in the production values, they presented an excellent film with a lot of quality. Shyam K Naidu's visuals are appealing. Not only did Ragin Raj make his debut with the film, but the movie also brought Amma Rajasekhar back to successful form.

Thala Movie Review

Although shooting the film in real locations like forests and rural areas was challenging, the director rose to the challenge and made the film.

Verdict:

The film has a strong story and the direction is good. The performances are good too. The team should have avoided a little bit of violence from the movie. Other than that, everything else is good.  This film has also earned a place among the many wonderful films that have come out with mother sentiment.

Rating: 2.5 / 5.0
