Thalapathy Vijay delivered one of the biggest box office hits in recent times with 'Sarkar' that has become a benchmark when calculating the opening day collections of subsequent films. It has come to light that the shooting of 'Thalapathy 63' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment will begin from Monday, 21st January.

Prior to that, it is reported that the pooja of 'Thalapathy 63' will be held tomorrow, the 20th of January with the entire cast and crew in attendance. The film has Vijay, Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Kathir and Vivek with Keerthy Suresh also said to be on board. A.R. Rahman is scoring the music, G.K. Vishnu handling the cinematography, T. Muthuraj the production design and Ruben taking care of the editing.
