Actor Vijay is now shooting for his 64th movie which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who had made his debut with Managaram and had given another superhit with Kaithi that had Karthi playing the lead role. The movie which was released on Diwali has grossed more than 100 crores.

This Vijay starrer has been called as Thalapathy 64 at the moment and also stars Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu, Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan, Ramya Subramanian and many others, and has music by Anirudh who unites with Vijay after Kaththi.

While it was announced last week that Kaithi's villain Arjun Das has joined the cast, replacing Antony Varghese, now another actor from Kaithi has joined the team. It has been confirmed that Actor Dheena who had played a humorous role in kaithi is also acting in Thalapathy 64.
