Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' is releasing on Diwali 2019 and on the same day director Lokesh Kangaraj's 'Kaithi' starring Karthi is also hitting the screens. Ironically the duo who would be locking horns at the box office will immediately start shooting together for 'Thalapathy 64'.

A hot update about 'Thalapathy 64' is that Malavika Mohanan who acted as Sasikumar's wife in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' has reportedly joined the cast.
