Breaking! Vijay's 'Thalapathy 65' gets an acclaimed veteran on board

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi is the most awaited biggie which is ready for release but is stalled due to the coronavirus lockdown. Efforts are on to release the film for fans on Diwali this year if possible or most probably on Pongal 2021.

Meanwhile Vijay's next movie 'Thalapathy 65' has started gaining momentum and is proceeding towards its next stage. There were some disparities in the remuneration that producer Sun Pictures offered the mass hero due to the pandemic issues. However, in the past week everything has been sorted out according to reliable sources and the project is back on track with a bang. Thaman is most likely to score the music.

The hot news is that veteran writer R. Selvaraj has joined the 'Thalapathy 65' team and is working with director A.R. Murugadoss to shape the screenplay in the most engaging and entertaining manner. Selvaraj started his career as a screenwriter in 1974 with 'Engamma Sabatham' and in the past four and a half decades has written most of Bharathirja's hit films and close to hundred others. He is also known as 'Annakili' Selvaraj after the super hit film with his story released in 1976 starring Sivakumar and Sujatha.

To the current generation, Selvaraj also collaborated with Mani Ratnam in the blockbuster hit film 'Alai Paayuthey' starring Madhavan and Shalini More details on this mega flick that is in preproduction currently, the minute we have them.
