Vijay's 'Thalapathy 67' team gave fans a lot to cheer in the past three days raining updates. Now its all official that the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music. The first set of confirmed cast members contains big names such as Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Action King Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sandy and Mathew Thomas.

The big question on the minds of millions of fans is whether 'Thalapathy 67' is a part of LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) or is a standalone. There were speculations that Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, Fahadh Faasil and others from 'Vikram' and 'Kaithi' are likely to appear in the new movie. However the suspense is still not cleared.

Meanwhile the 'Thalapathy 67' pooja video was released on February 1st and fans has zoomed in on one prominent attendee who is none other than actor George Mariyan. The popular comedy and character actor was one of the protagonists in Lokesh Kanagaraj's cult hit 'Kaithi' playing constable Napolean who along with Karthi dominated the climax.

Did George Mariyan attend the 'Thalapathy 67' pooja as a guest or is he returning as Napolean making the film a sure shot LCU remains to be seen. Meanwhile filming is underway at a hectic pace in Kashmir and more surprise announcements are expected today and tomorrow (Feb 2nd and 3rd).
