Confirmed - 'Vijay 62' director and production house

We reported as long back as January 6th that Thalapathy Vijay's next after 'Mersal' will be directed by A.R. Murugadoss and have continued running the story, especially the buzz about the production house. Read : 'Vijay 62' buzz - Hold your breath, keep fingers crossed and Ilayathalapathy -A.R. Murugadoss 'Vijay 62' changes hands?.

Sources close to the project now confirm that 'Vijay 62' will indeed be directed by A.R. Murugadoss and bankrolled by Sun Pictures who are returning to production after seven years since the world wide blockbuster 'Enthiran'. Shooting is expected to begin in October and official announcement will be out in a few weeks time.
