The release date of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' on 25th October two days before Diwali has been announced officially and fans are full-on in celebration mode.  The Vijay mania is so high that it is hogging the top social media trends and Star Sports has decided to capitalize on that.

Star Sports has tweeted in Tamil "Football...Thalapathy Vijay...Bigil.."  Why this tweet? The Indian Super League starts on Star Sports Tamil 1 and we just wanted to remind that to you".  Well that is the most positive thing about the upcoming movie which is helping to promote the sport.

'Bigil' produced by AGS Entertainment is directed by Atlee with music score by A.R. Rahman.  Vijay plays dual roles with triple getups while Nayanthara is playing his love interest.  G.K. Vishnu is handling the camera, T. Muthuraj the production design and Ruben the editing.
