'Love Today' Srinath an ardent fan of Thalapathy Vijay lost his life in an accident that occured  on the wee hours of 25/10/2017 in Trivandrum reportedly while returning home after setting up the 2nd week banners of the super hit 'Mersal'.

Srinath the president of Vijay Fan Club in Trivandrum is so fond of Vijay that he tattoed the figure of his idol on his body and is said to be the first one among the Thalapathy fans to do it.  The deceased fan is also so popular in Kerala that his character has been written into the script of the recently released 'Pokkiri Simon' in which actor Appani Ravi portrayed him.  Ravi has rushed to Srinath's house and has consoled the family and has also intimated the Vijay camp about the sad demise.
