Tamil cinema's youth icon, Thalapathy Vijay is all set to conquer Tamil Nadu politics. The actor started a new political party last month through which he will be facing the assembly elections in 2026. He announced that he would quit cinema to join full-time politics.

Amid his film works, Vijay is taking care of his party works as well. He started the membership drive of his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam with a new video today. As we reported earlier, the members can join Vijay's party through the digital medium such as WhatsApp, Telegram and a web app. A voter ID and mobile OTP are all it takes to become a member of TVK.

It is worth mentioning that this is Vijay's first video as the leader of the party. In the clip, the actor reveals that he joined TVK through his phone and invites people who are interested in his party's motto to do the same. He announced the members joining the committee of TVK yesterday which comprises Vijayalakshmi, Yasmin, Sambathkumar, Vijay Anban and Prabhu.
