Thalapathy Vijay's strategic political announcements today make his fans super happy

Thalapathy Vijay one of the biggest superstars in the South has organized his fans the Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam that is expected to become a political party in the future. The Vijay fans even contested the recent local body elections and won considerable numer of councilor seats to the envy of the well established smaller parties.

Today the TVMI general secretary Bussy Anand presided over a meeting of thousand members at the the newly renovated office at Panaiyur near Chennai. At the meeting a blood donation app called Thalapathy Vijay Kuruthiyagam was unveiled. Official handles in important social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook were launched as well. Political analysts see these moves as a strategic one to further strengthen the fanbase that will make a difference in the state in the coming years. The attendees were also treated to a sumptous meal in the afternoon.

Vijay, meanwhile has flown to Hyderabad to take part in an important shooting schedule of his new movie 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally in which Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. He is expected to begin shooting for his next 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in the last quarter of the year.
