'Mersal' producers give a fitting response to cynics

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ was one of the biggest releases last year which went on to create box office records worldwide. However, some have been touting rumours that the film did not yield profits owing to its humongous budget in addition to other reasons.
The producers of ‘Mersal’, Sri Thenandal Films have responded in their social to such statements from those people who aren’t even related to the film in any way. “Mersal is our pride. And a great honour to work with Thalapthy Vijay!” the tweet read. Well, this ought to be a fitting reply to all the naysayers!
