Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' underwent a lot of pressure before and after its release from mostly political sources on its way to becoming a huge blockbuster.  The Telugu version titled 'Adhirindhi' was supposed to hit the screens on the same Diwali day itself but had to be postponed to October 27th due to censor issues.

Now on the eve of October 27, when everything was set for the release of 'Adhirindhi' the shocking news has come that the film has again being postponed due to non availability of the censor certificate.  This news must come as a dampener for all the Telugu fans of Vijay who have eagerly awaited the film.  Sri Thenandal Studios will apparently announce the new release date soon after sorting out the issues.
