Thalapathy Vijay in his past few films has tackled various issues like the farmers plight in 'Kaththi', the looting by educationalists in 'Bhairavaa' and the discrepancies in the medical profession in 'Mersal'.  In his upcoming 'Thalapathy 62' directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the story is set in such a way that many issues faced by the Tamil Nadu people like agriculture, water scarcity and many more are dealt with according to reports.

Vijay already mouthed bold dialogues against the establishment and also criticised new implementations like GST and demonitization in 'Mersal'.  Highly placed sources in the camp suggest that Thalapathy Vijay will be speaking many more bold political dialogues in 'Thalapathy 62' which will be hard hitting and become a rage with the masses.

'Thalapathy 62' produced by Sun Pictures and directed by A.R. Murugadoss has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Premkumar and many other stars feature in important roles. A.R. Rahman scores the music, Girish Gangadharan handles the cinematography and A. Sreekhar Prasad the editing.
