Thalapathy Vijay's 'Simtaangaran' record breaking show

The single lyric video of the song 'Simtaangaran' from 'Sarkar' starring Thalapathy Vijay with music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Vivek was released yesterday on YouTube at 6pm.  Powered by the Thalapathy fans within four hours the views touched the magical 1 million mark and in another half  hours count it was an unbelievable 3.1 million

This morning at the time of this writing the 'Simtaangaran' hits on YouTube is nearing the 4 million mark.'Sarkar' the grand Diwali release is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures.  It stars Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Premkumar, Pazha Karuppaiah and Radha Ravi.
