We all know that Thalapathy Vijay's bilingual film 'Varisu' is coming to the cinemas on January 11. The makers announced that both Tamil and Telugu versions will be released on Pongal 2023, right from the first look poster. Now, there is a buzz that the release of the film's Telugu version is uncertain.

Meanwhile, the stage is set for a mighty Pongal clash. Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya will lock horns at the box office. Earlier, there was a huge confusion regarding the release dates of Varisu and Thunivu. Initially, they were expected to get a release on January 12 but instead the makers decided to prepone it to January 11.

This confusion affected the premier shows of these films overseas including the USA and UK. Last night, it was reported that the release of 'Vaarasudu' might get postponed worldwide because the premier shows weren't scheduled on January 10. The Telugu release was said to be pushed to 14th or 20th. But now, sources have cleared the air that Vaarasudu will release on January 11 in AP/TG and also in the other parts of the world, as per initial plans.

Varisu producer Dil Raju is a leading film producer in Tollywood. He will ensure the Telugu release of Varisu all over the world. It is worth mentioning that Ajith's Thunivu is also releasing in Telugu as 'Thegimpu'. Interestingly, Dil Raju is distributing Thegimpu in Nizam and Vizag areas in AP & TG through his production house Sri Venkateswara Creations.
