Vijay's Verithanam from Bigil sets new record

Vijay's upcoming movie Bigil, directed by Atlee, is arguably the most anticipated movie of the year. Fans can barely wait for the festive occasion of Diwali for Bigil's release as the cast and crew are working as hard as they can to produce a movie that will exceed all expectations of the fans.
The second single of Bigil, titled Verithanam, and sung by Vijay, has reached a new milestone, breaking all previously set records. The single has now become the first ever Tamil lyric video to reach a million likes on YouTube. It is worth mentioning that the video garnered 100K likes in just two minutes and 10 million views in 64 hours. Considering the amount of hype surrounding the lyrical video, it will not be a surprise if the video song breaks previously set records as well.
The first look, second look, and the title of Bigil were released on Vijay's birthday eve followed by the third look on his birthday. The first single track, titled Singappenney, was also recently released. Produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the AGS Entertainment banner, BIGIL stars Nayanthara in the lead alongside Vijay. The music has been composed by A.R. Rahman.
