'Happy Wedding', jointly produced by UV Creations and Pocket Cinema, is directed by Lakshman Karya. The love story stars Sumanth Ashwin and Mega Princess Niharika Konidela in the lead.

The news is that Thaman has come on board to compose the film's background music. "We are happy that he is on board. We all know his knack for scoring excellent BGMs. And the songs by Sashikanth Karthik of 'Fidaa' fame will complement his splendid work," the makers say.

The makers say that the film will hit the screens worldwide soon. Its shooting is done and some post-production work alone is pending.

"The story is about what transpires between two families and two hearts from the time of 'pelli choopulu' to the time when the pair get married. These experiences happen to us all. The sequences are quite relatable. The director has done the film with a clear vision," the producers say.

Naresh, Murali Sharma, Pavithra Lokesh, Tulasi, Indraja, Madhumani and others are part of the cast. The cinematography is by Bala Reddy.
