'Aravindha Sametha' was Thaman's 100th movie. Strangely enough, he has started coming into his own more than 10 years after he began his career with 'Kick'. After composing for 100 movies, the best of a music director is typically over. Thaman is an exception. He has birthed his best tunes after all these years! The grand run that is 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' jukebox proves it. Be it the blockbuster songs or the BGM of the Allu Arjun movie, Thaman has nailed it effortlessly.

As a result, he is now in the good books of all top heroes. He is composing for Pawan Kalyan's next, a remake of 'Pink'. He is also the chosen one for the Mahesh Babu-Vamshi Paidipally outing as well as the NTR-Trivikram Srinivas movie. One or the other day, he might compose for a Prabhas movie as well. That day might come soon enough.

As for Mani Sharma, one thought everything was over for him. 'iSmart Shankar' gave him the scope to reinvent himself. He is now composing for the Megastar Chiranjeevi-Koratala Siva movie. The 'Melody Brahma' has bagged yet another big-ticket project: Venkatesh's 'Naarappa'.

Amidst all this, Devi Sri Prasad must be raring to give another 'Rangasthalam'. Maybe, the Bunny-Sukumar project will be that. For now, however, he has ceded space to Thaman and Mani Sharma.
