After the national award winning film 'Thangameenkal' director Ram is presently working on the film 'Taramani' with Andrea Jeremiah playing the lead role. The film has been in the making for more than a year now and it is expected to be released soon.

Now even before the release of 'Taramani', Ram will be directing a film for Sri Rajalakshmi Films banner of P.L.Thenappan. This film will have the Malayalam superstar Mammootty making a comeback after a long time to Tamil films and he will be seen in the lead role along with Anjali. Baby Sadhana who won the national award for her performance in 'Thangameenkal' will also be acting in a pivotal role in this film.

The film will have Ram's regular composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's music and Na.Muthukumar will be penning the lyrics for all the songs. The shooting of this yet to be titled film will start from the 6th day of January 2016. An official announcement is expected soon in this regard.

Apart from these directorial commitments Ram is acting in the lead role in 'Savarakathi' produced by Mysskin.
