It's been a couple of weeks since the unprecedented torrential rains lashed Kerala and the heavy flooding claimed more than 400 lives.  Many celebrities, especially from the Tamil film industry have donated generously for the rebuilding of the neighboring state.

A.R. Rahman is the latest to donate rupees one crore for Kerala.  The Isaipuyal has been on a concert tour to the US and done his part for the God's own country. He has stated "From my artistes and me touring the USA... To our brothers and sisters of Kerala!" May this small offering help in providing you some relief! 

A.R.Rahman will be performing live his album for Mani Ratnam's multi starrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' on September 5th.  The film releasing on September 28th has the dream cast of Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Dayana Erappa.
