Tamil Nadu child abuser gets 10 years jail

One Murugesan of Thanjavur took his two and a half-year-old daughter to a relative's marriage in 2012 when one Sathyaraj abducted the child and sexually abused her. Following the police complaint of Murugesan and his wife the cops arrested Sathyaraj and the case has been going on for over seven years.

The child abuse case came up for hearing today and the Thanjavur Mahila court finding Sathyaraj guilty has handed him the sentence of 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of rupees two thousand. The parents of the child and the area people in general have welcomed the judgment.
