Speaking at a press briefing in Chennai, Anushka has profusely thanked producer Shyam Prasad Reddy for roping her in for 'Arundhati', the horror-revenge drama that catapulted Sweetie to stardom in 2009.
"Had it not been for him, I wouldn't be around. I thank him for being the first person who invested conviction in me," the 'Baahubali' sensation said at a 'Bhaagamathie' event.
She then spoke of Puri Jagannadh's contribution. "I have always believed in taking life as it comes. I was so clueless that I didn't even know it was perfectly fine to listen to a story before signing a project. Puri Jagannadh taught me how it works (in the film industry). Since then (the film 'Super'), I have come a long way," she said.
