Thanneer Mathan Dinangal gets a Tamil remake

Mollywood 2019 release Thanneer Mathan Dinangal was one of the box-office hits of the year. After the recent Mollywood hits such as Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Helen, Driving Licence, Lucifer and Ishq, now Thaneer Mathan Dinangal is also set to be remade in Tamil.
The movie's director Gireesh AD recently unveiled that the Tamil remake will feature Anaswara Rajan reprising the same character from the original. As you know, we had already reported that the actress will be playing the lead role in the Telugu remake as well. Debutant Hemanth will be directing the film, which was supposed to begin earlier this year. The shoot is expected to start after the COVID-19 pandemic eases.
‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’ is a teenage rom-com featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan and a bunch of teenagers in the lead roles. The movie and its songs were a huge hit and is said to have made a whopping collection of Rs. 50 crore at the box-office.
