Tharkaappu
Actor Sakthi the son of popular director P. Vasu makes a comeback with a new screen name Sakthivel Vasu in 'Tharkappu' in which he shares screen space with director-actor Samuthirakani.
The plot revolves around six characters in which Sakthivel Vasu plays a gangster and Samuthirakani dons the role of a police officer. Both Samuthirakani and Sakthivel Vasu do not have heroines in the movie. Riyas Khan has done an important role in the film. Set in Krishnagiri, 'Tharkappu' is said to be different from the usual police story elements like conflict with the villain as the subject is about the consequences of a murder and the director R.P. Ravi revealed that he has weaved in several true incidents into the storyline. The film is expected to carry a strong message that killing someone is not a solution to any problem.
F.S. Faisal has composed music for the movie; Jones Anand has wielded the camera. Shaun Lokesh has taken charge of Editing. The film has been produced by DRS Selvamuthu and N.Manjunath under the Kinetoscope banner.
`Tharkappu' has been scheduled to hit the screens on January 1, 2016.
